Dermal Fillers


Our fully trained Aesthetics Practitioners makes use of Dermal Fillers from the Juvaderm®, Belotero and Radiesse range to fill any permanent facial lines and to add volume to any desired areas in the face. 

The Dermal Fillers consist of Stabilized Haluronic Acid and is injected into and under the skin, depending on the area that is being treated and the effect that is desired.

Areas that can be treated include:
  • Volumizing of the Lips, Tear-trough area (blue areas under the eyes), Cheek Bone areas, Cheeks, Nasal deformities, Ear lobes, Neck lines.
  • Filling of lines: Frontal lines, Naso-labial lines, Marionette/"Sadness" lines, Peri-Oral lines, Scars.
Pre-treatment

We advise you to avoid using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for a couple of days before your Dermal Filler injection. This reduces the risk of bruising and bleeding at the site of injection.

With your first visit, you will need to provide your practitioner with a detailed medical history, informing him of any current medical problems, details of any allergies and medications you are taking. There is no need for an allergy test, unless your practitioner deems it necessary.

The Procedure
How long is an appointment?
The injection process can take a mere 15-20 minutes. You'll however need to allow time to consult with your practitioner before the treatment. This consultation will cover all possible major advantages and possible side effects. 

Will the procedure hurt?
All filling is done under local anesthesia and only minimal discomfort can be expected.
The Results
Will I notice the difference right away?
Yes, the aesthetic results are immediate.

Will I need to take time off work?
Absolutely not! You can have an appointment in your lunch hour and then get right back to your normal routine.

Post-treatment care

For the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and alcoholic beverages in order to help minimize the risk of temporary redness, swelling and/or itching.

How long do the results last?
Typically the results can be expected to last from 12 to 18 months..
